Chamomile maybe? I am not knowledgeable in these sorts of things, as I usually use things you would not touch to calm my nerves.

Chamomile is an excellent choice from what I read, as is lavender. Of course my reading only extends to the bottle of SoftSoap in my bathroom. Ironically, it's the chamomile that makes me think of my childhood illnesses. The scent of the stuff immediately brings that to mind. It was the same with the gingerale, too, but I overcame that as it gave me a comfort the chamomile didn't somehow. I must try some again.
PR you are just getting over something yourself, aren't you? Seems the ick is making the rounds again. RIMG didn't you have it too recently? Oy.

Hey PR, I know about your stance on alcohol and all, but maybe you could consider it an off-shoot herbal remedy? It does come from plants and can have a beneficial usage. Jus' sayin'.

JQ - good morning (for this thread). Yes, I had some ick recently, though I didn't do anything about it. I cannot stand the taste of chamomile, just for the taste, but I forgot about Lavender being calming too (shameful, as I use it for relaxing massages)

PR - I agree with Jonny, looks like the cold is making a comeback. Mine did the same thing, and extra long hours don't help. I speak from experience!
I know that twinings do an apple and cinnamon tea that's particularly nice... um, do you have twinings tea over there?

DTH - Rhiannon is a sort of patron Goddess to me .so the song is very special as well.I know you'll understand that !Now you have made it even more special 
And yes we do habe the twinnings tea.I love thier peppermint & keep it stocked during the winter.
RIMG - IF they both nap ,which would be a miracle ,and I will take full advantage.But until then I'm staying here with my tea and shiny friends !

Twinings? Is that like you and PR? No that would be "twinnings". Huh. Nope can't say as I've heard of that one. But you Irish are with your teas like we are with our coffeehouses!

You are always an inpiration, DTH. (I've already commented on LA's lyrics elsewhere, so I'll let yours stand unchallenged as I agree!)

LA - At least they are capable of entertaining themselves, well, at least enough to let you post. I also keep peppermint tea stocked, though it is year round, as I use it when making my sweet tea.
