That is pretty ugly from next gen. But the flying boobs in space takes the cake. I hated the new uss enterprise but it really is that I hate that french captain and his gay federation navy.
You guys always bring me the best violence. You think your in a hot place?

Seems I remember from a long time ago, the ships in the original Battlestar Galactica had serious issues with ugly. But then, they were supposed to be whatever could be scavenged up to escape on.

Aw...I always liked the Gunstar!
"Greetings Starfighter! You have been recruited by the Star League to defend the Frontier agains Xur and the Ko'Dan armada!"
Oh, and if you think you can handle a Gunstar and are using a PC...try this:

Heh...
I'm still running through the archives of my mind trying to pick out a bad one. For some reason the "Eagle" in 1999 keeps popping into my head, but I never thought of it as "ugly" as much as "odd". Of course, it looked pretty cool in the early 70's.
Now, I DO remember a movie (and I don't think it was all that long ago really, maybe mid to late 80's) that starred a football player as the main character. I remember that they totally ripped the space scenes from the original BSG, right down to where the cylon raider crashed into the landing bay of the Gallactica. At one point they had a "chase scene" where the main character was either chasing or trying to get away in what appeared to be little more than a bumper car. It was just a bad, bad, badly done movie. And as a whole I'd say the movie itself was a piece of junk.

Hello Stegasaurus:
It sounds like your movie was Flash Gordon. It came out in the early 1980's.
The were trying to recapture the feel for the old Buster Crabbe serials of Flash Gordon from 1936. If the had made tiny little spaceships and hung them from strings like the original they may have done a better job of catching the essence of the original. Gotta love those 1936 spaceships bouncing around like little toys with sparklers used for rocket exhaust. But the dialogue was the best part. Dale, the heroin, would scream, "Flash!" and then faint in ever episode.
Sorry to ramble. I just love to reminise those old Flash Gordon serials.

I always thought that Prometheus from SG1 was ugly as Hell. For America's first interstellar spacecraft I guess it isn't too bad, but it ain't great neither.

yeah the Prometheus is WAY TOO ugly.
That and the "Orion" from Atlantis is even uglier, and the "Flying Toilet Seats" the Ori use are just plain odd.
Maybe Stargate should stick with the gate and not use spaceships. oh...wait...nevermind

Beat this for low budget: Dark Star.
It's a freaking paper airplane, OK?!
Though not nearly as fugly as the flying flesh monster...
I'm not sure what body parts it's supposed to be but I wouldn't want to get near them.
..and now I can't get down.

There's a lot of real winners in the new Star Wars series... Also, I didn't like the ship in Pitch Black, too mcuh like a wannabe 2001 A Space Odyssey. Also, although I really liked The Chronicles of Riddick, I just say that a lot of the Necromonger ships were really wierd although unique. The merc ship was also pretty hokey.
