Yep, I'm back. You can thank Tristan and PFCharles from fishing me out of the black pit I've been living in for the past few months. Hello RMMC:
You bake. I don't cook at all. I live alone and I just lost the enthusiasm to cook just for myself.
The best part of Christmas was my mother baking cookies. She had a couple of good recipes that were just fantastic. She doesn't bake anymore. I would bug here about it, but she deserves to take a break after years of caring for me and my sister. But I do miss thoughs cookies.
In the latest imponderable is whether people like celebrating their birthdays. I have to admit birthdays were very special when I was a child. Licking the bowl after my mother got done pouring the cake batter into the baking pans for my birthday cake. Gotta love that.
So post when you have the time. I will be on the lookout for them.
