Man today was tough. Just had a wekk off and when I got back to work I reaslised why I needed the week off, MY JOB SUCKS

But low and behold when I got home my copy of Done the Impossible had arrived!! OMG what a way to salvage the day from the brink of despair.

I watched it with a tear in my eye from the very start. Firefly fans just are the greatest and I want you to know I love you all

There is just something about Browncoats isn't there. Glad you feel better.

there's no better way to cheer up than Firefly!
I'm glad that your day was saved!

Sorry to hear you had such a crappy day, and I'm glad you had some Firefly lovin' to cheer you up

I hated my job too once, but things have gotten a lot better for me. I hope the same happens for you.

I truly believe anything FF, Serenity, and/or Joss will pick you up when you're down.
FF and the Browcoats have such a sense of family. Last year was one of the worst I've had. Then I saw Serenity, got the DVD, & FF DVD set and discovered the dedication of the fans and really felt I got a another family. I still tear up at the end of Serenity knowing that is the end of the movie. What more. Now I'm getting all mushy..snif snif.

Everybodies makin' a fuss.

Sorry to hear about your day.I find that work is highly overrated, that's why I'm self unemployed!
Got my copy of Done the Impossible almost two months ago and still haven't watched it,can you believe that?Maybe that's why I'm so mopey lately,my real life is interfering with my Firefly geeking.Although I am listening to the Firefly soundtrack as I'm writing this.It works for me.
Anyway keep your chin up or as the Brits would say keep your pecker up 'cause you can talk to us fans any time you're feelin' down!

BTW that's my favorite Ben Franklin quote!

"Come a day there won't be room for naughty men like us to slip about at all"

Yeah, if you can't take it anymore just pop in any episode and chill out for 45 minutes, things are bound to improve.

I also find work to be overrated, although my job is pretty interesting. Still, there are some issues at the office and I'm looking at some new possibilities.

I cannot tell you how many times Firefly and Serenity have saved me during a bad day. There are even many times when I've been at work and started humming or singing The Ballad of Serenity (or The Hero of Canton) to make myself feel better.
