OK - How I Met Your Mother was listed as being on at 7 tonight (in my part of the verse) but it never came on. There was an extension of the news and the The Class came on.

Did anyone else have this happen? Was it on other places?

I came home early tonight to watch it. Bummer!

It came on right before "The Class", at 8:00 on CBS...Are you sure you had the right channel?

It was listed at 7 in my town - The news sports update continued till The Class started. Yes, I had the right station - checked the others to be sure.

How was it?

Just saw the episode. Morena was OK, but not really that memorable. Actually, the whole show didn't really impress me that much. Ally was cute and all, and did anyone notice that the other barrista was the guy who played Andrew on BUFFY? That actually got me more excited than a woefully underdeveloped character for one of our BDH's.

Three Whedon vets in half an hour. That's pretty good.

But HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER is not something I'll be watching on a regular basis and is not the funniest show on tv.

That distinction goes to THE OFFICE.

"Four"
You would destroy the Cybermen with four Daleks?"
"We would destroy the Cybermen with ONE Dalek. You are superior in only one respect."
"What is that?"
"You are better at dying."

Trash talk between a Cyberman and a Dalek. It doesn't get any better than that.

This was only the second time I've watched How I Met Your Mother. I really really wanted to like it, but, alas, I just can't.
Alyson Hanigan is spot on with her delivery -- she definitely outshines the rest of the cast. Poor Morena didn't have much to work with.
Still, it was good to see her. She's so adorable!
Now just waitin' for Wed to see my Captain.

If you missed it want to watch it, you can watch the full episodes on CBS's website for free. I have watched The Nine on ABC's website a couple of times and it works pretty well.

Wow just watched my recording last night. Morena was not at her best. Her fake laugh was hard to buy. The rest of her acting wasn't all that impressive either. This is the first time I've ever but unimpressed by her. Sorta shocking.

The rest of the Swarley stuff was awesome though. It was also good to see they're finally putting Marshal and Lily back together. I think they need them together and it's about time to break Ted and Robin up. Then the show will have it's theme of Ted jumping from relationship to relationship to set up good funny situations. With him and Robin together it's been losing some of it's flare.
