Alright i AM a Buffy newb. Where is Nathan Fillion in Buffy? I would like to see that.

He plays a really bad ass demon loving preacher named Caleb. It's in Season 7. In the commentary Joss is talking about finding someone for that part and Nathan being available. He's viscious and righteous about it, too. We're talking mean with a tude to it! That's where I first saw him which led me to Firefly.

My dad (totaly firefly geek) said that Nathan Fillion played a FANTASTIC bad guy... I had stopped watchign Buffy by then. It's nice to know that Wash can do jsut as well.. The sign of an amazing actor. Comic relief on one show; twisted pedophile on another. I think he did great.

Sorry about that first line. Actually it was said by my wife last night while we watched Alan T. (Wash)on CSI. I didn't even remember that he was going to be on it until I saw a commercial for the show while watching Surviver. I can only say that I am depressed. Why? because he did a good and convencing job that's why. Now I've got this in my head and I need to water it down with something. More shows with Alan being his enjoyable funny self. I would say that about 24 new eps of firefly would cure me

A most excellent job!! Was alternately creeped out and fascinated, and it was good to see Alan on the screen again:)
It was an excellent choice to have someone who seems *so* nice and friendly to play this part - that's what was really scary, on the screen and in reality...
But I'm gonna need some full on "Wash" to get 'Fisher' out of my head!

No kidding I'm going to be watching Firefly for a while just to get the thought of that guy out of my head. But Alan Tudyk did do a good job nothing less was expected of cource but I just wanted to know if he could pull it off and he did.

I'm sure you can pick up Buffy Season 7 from video store. Nathan is in quite a few episodes. He played the character really well. It was the first time I learned about him. I had rented the Serenity DVD over the summer and liked it a lot but still didn't really know about Firefly - but I've been a Buffy fan for years - it was Joss talking about Nathan on the season 7 commentary that finally led me to Firefly.
In the Buffyverse people die and come back all the time. Buffy died at least twice. It takes time to make these dimensional shifts.

Alan was really really good last night. At one point I was developing a lot of sympathy for his character, then wham-they found the fruit juice, whiskey cap and mushed mushrooms, not to mention the gas can in the back seat of the car.
Saw Nathan as Caleb in Buffy this fall courtesy of Netflix. Think truly demented, evil evangelical preacher type.
It seems Joss can really pick the actors-they can do action, romance, comedy and then turn right around and portray characters that can make your skin crawl.
