Though I know something about tact, unlike Kane, and I do enjoy a good story every now and then, (God I can't believe I'm about to say this) I do have to agree with Kane, to a point. Though in this case the "abuse" of police power ended with no ill effects, quite the opposite it seems, this practice is common place and usually doesn't have a happy ending.

That's not the point here though. The point is I appreciate you sharing your story with us regardless of the hostility some show (in almost every thread in some people's cases), and I encourage everyone on this board to continue to do so.

Welcome to the site Todmcfly! Great to have you here with us.

Ignore Kaneman. The rest of us do.

Thanks for sharing your story with us. I am sure a police officer pulling me over would have made me annoyed and nervous, but finding out he was a browncoat and chatting about the 'verse would have made my day.

Take care & keep flyin'!

I agree. Good story. It is very rare that I get to talk to a fellow browncoat not on this site.

That driver had to go through all of the emotions on that day.

anger, embarassment, fear, relief, then happiness.

Everybody always has the advantage over us, but that's what makes us special...and Browncoats.

What a total abuse of power. Honestly, I'd a done the same. Its such a rarity to find 'coats just out and about. Glad you got a smile out of it, especially after the earlier call. Have a good day.

Happy Birthday PsychoBilly!

Cook Todmcfly...and I hope I end up getting pulled over by you for nothing one day:) 'Course most of my friends are cops so I get " pulled over" a lot for fun. Never had a ticket though:)

I have my Serenity kanji decal on my car window and not one single person has ever recognized it for what it is.

I enjoyed the story and tho I too would be FREAKIN out if someone pulled me over, it is a funny tale.

while i find the story amusing, i have to agree with kaneman to a certain degree. i don't think it's funny for the browncoat in the other car nor anybody else to be pulled put by the "Feds" even when you know you have done something wrong. if you haven't you're even more worried that this cop is actually trying to frame you.
while this was all a harmless episode, i can imagine (and I'm sure the poor browncoat imagined) all kinds of things that could happen when police stop you for totally unjustifiable and arbitrary reasons.

Thanks for the story! I'd probably be a little nervous being pulled over, but the story would be totally worth it. Plus it would remind me to drive more carefully, which is always a good thing. Meeting new Browncoats always puts a smile on my face!
