I will back ATIGDNG in this. Masterbation is wrong, and immoral. Saying that it is good because everyone does it is just plain dumb. If everyone jumped off a cliff would you do it also just to fit in?
I do not pretend to be any better than you. I was an avid masturbater for three years, and the only thing that stopped me my introduction to Firefly, no kidding. Masturbation is a degredation of both body and mind. I dont care if you do or do not but please lets keep this forum on apropriate subjects.

This one reminds me of the time back in high school, wayyyyyyy back in highschool. It was after gym class and we were waiting for the bell to ring so we could dash to our next class. Everyone was quite and just standing there, and this guy says "You know hair grows on the palm of your hand when you masturbate." Well one guy raises his hand and looks. We all broke out laughing at the poor guy. I guess I will to that special place in hell for laughing at him.

But when I was in technical school, getting an education as a tool designer, we had a lot of veterans from Vietnam going there using the GI Bill to pay for their education.

Mentioning Vietnam should give you an idea how old I am.

One of these veterans was not shy about his sex life. He would raise his hand and say, "She never complains or lets me down." Then the other GI's would bark back that they didn't require to know about his sex life.

Actually back then, it was 1970, they stopped using the term "GI" and used the term "Grunt". This is from the sound Grunts made climbing up and down the hills or in and out the hundreds of streams that meander through Vietnam. They cared very heavy loads through the jungles, so climbing up a river bank was tough work. And the heat did not help much.

Sex, no matter what shape it comes in, is a personal thing. Would anybody discuss the sex life with their signifcant other?

You're welcome, though I don't remember ever electing you as my mom/preist/etc. Nowhere in any of the religious upbringing I had did it ever come up that it is immoral. I'm not sure what kind of puritanical upbringing you had, but different strokes for different folks I guess (no pun intended). And as for throwing the lemming argument in our collective face, that was not only ignorant but very childish. This isn't second grade, so please don't talk down to us like we're children.

I also don't remember it being you decision as to what is appropriate or not on a public forum. Thanks for trying to censor us though.

It is incredibly stupid to say that people who masturbate have no morals. Anyone who says that is obviously very ignorant and hasn't met that many different people in their lives. Maybe you should look up the meaning of the term "moral" because you clearly don't understand it.

I think the funniest thing that I do is watch Jewel's video "Who Will Save Your Soul" when I'm in my bunk.
