huh. Sounds like you need to take it to wherever you bought it from and keep a stern tone in your voice until they fix and/or replace it.

yup its what i intend to do today.
Unfortunetly i bought it on line, and they say i have to go to the manufacturer. *$%!!*£!
so i'm going to hopefully mix sterness with flirtyness and see if the my contract providers shop will do something.
I have insurance, but its new, so new i haven't got my policy details yet, plus theres a £30 excess so i still wouldn't get anything done till i next got paid in movember.
*$%^&!!!!!
but, hopefully flirty, maybe a little dignified begging will get something done. we'll see, shall report back tonight!

If it's new and there's a policy on it, the store should be able to look that info up. Hopefully.
Wear something cleavagey and then, if you get desperate, lean on the counter.

Cleavagey? Is there anything more cleavagey than the corset?
I'll give you good odds that you'll walk out of the shop with a new phone.
And several telephone numbers.

You're right! I didn't think of that. She could just them she was going to an early Halloween party, but oh dear, her phone seemed to be broken (pulls out of cleavage), could they maybe have a looksee?

Quote:Same here, the most exciting one was one I had while I was at middle school, I had a dream where I was walking down a playground toward people I didn't know when I felt pain in the side of my head. Years later at Secondary School I was walking down the playground toward some teachers when a basketball hit me on the side of the head. That's about the least mundane one.

I used to dream that I'd be in class and the person in the desk next to me wasn't there and then the next day they'd be out sick. Boring stuff. But, I get those premonitions. It's awful. I haven't had one in awhile.
What are you thinking about when you have these precognitions? It could be that you're trying to tell yourself about a state of mind.
Quote:They've got nothing on Victor Hugo. Les Misérables Chapter 6 starts with waking up, and it's like chapter 12 where he finally leaves after breakfast.
I liked it, but i got to the end and realised what i don't like about it is the same think i don't like most victorian writers - it very turgid, with excessive dialogue, really, i used to say Dickens was a 'Why use two words when ten will do?' guy, Bronte is a why use two when thirty will do.
Well I've had a crap day. One of the guys at work has just found out he hasn't had a driving licence for 3 years since he got back from Iraq. So now I'm covering his work, which is basically the South East of England. It's no more work than London, just less people to do it and instead of different sites being walking distance from each other I end up driving from my house to Basingstoke, an hour journey without traffic jams on the M25. No one seems to know what's going on, and I broke a Laptop. I took it apart to find they'd given me the wrong part and when trying to fit it broke one of the tiny surface mount transistors off of the motherboard. The things are about a millimeter long, so small you can barely see them and if you knock one off the entire machine stops working. There's a printer that needs to be fixed yesterday but the parts are in the other guys car, and there's a blade server that needs fixing and the part to fix it is in Manchester, and the printer for Manchester is in Basingstoke. You can't blame the couriers though, a printer and a circuit board are quite similar and Manchester or Basingstoke, anyone could make that mistake, it's not like they're at opposite ends of the country.
Oh look it's Friday the 13th, not like I could have worked that out myself.
More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!
No one can see their reflection in running water. It is only in still water that we can see.
