Its alright, Chilli peppers saved the day, i'm now feeling nothing but funky.

I love the chilli's!

but, as its late, and i'm tired, i'm going to turn the music off, and after this fine meal consider some serious nappage.

Any willing pillows about?

Well I was always told I was good for nothing, but I'm soft enough I think, maybe I could elevate my position?

no!, but i'm hounding him, as best i can, he'll hopefully reply today. If he doesn't, i'm fairly confident he's coming, but do as you see fit, don't buy his ticket if you don't want to.

Seryn: I love Jane Eyre. Definitely one of my favourite books. In fact, I watched about 10 minutes of the movie (one of) this morning. It'd darker than Jane Eyre and I love that it's about two ordinary, plain looking people finding love. Most love stories are only about beautiful people. The ugly ones deserve love, too!

Sean: I have dreams and premonitions, too! Most of my dreams that come true are very boring, though. I used to dream that I'd be in class and the person in the desk next to me wasn't there and then the next day they'd be out sick. Boring stuff. But, I get those premonitions. It's awful. I haven't had one in awhile.

I liked it, but i got to the end and realised what i don't like about it is the same think i don't like most victorian writers - it very turgid, with excessive dialogue, really, i used to say Dickens was a 'Why use two words when ten will do?' guy, Bronte is a why use two when thirty will do. Its very melodramatic and wrapt up in superstition and spiritualism - ghosts of dead uncles, lightning splitting hawthorns trees - which is so victorian ints unreal, I also have to say the whole book is like someone with a bible.

But, i do love it - the story underneath is a fantastic one, every element is perfect, she creates real drama, real dilemmas, you wonder for a moment if the happy ending will come, but of course it does, and its a marvellous love story, and Jane and Edward fantastic people - both of them types that i would be drawn to, and the whole book makes the point that physical beauty is absolutely nothing, even while its pretty to look at.

so yes, fabulous book, but i don't think it quite replaces Austen or eve Gaskell on the top of the list.
But my sister is happy, its here favorite book in the world, and now she has someone who sympathises with her that while there have been numerous adaptations, nobody has yet managed to capture the book and the characters at all well.

Its like in P&P no one ever get bingley right, and I wail every time, and she read the book just so she knew what i was whinging about.

As for Premonitions, no fair! I don't get anything like that - the only thing i get is saying things at the same time as others and knowing who's phoning me when it rings.

thinking about it though, i was thinking about what i'd have to do if my phone broke down - event went looking for the warranty papers to see if they were still valid, couldn't find them anywhere.

My phones now busted.

yesterday the buttons stopped working, and now if i turn it on, it wont do anything i want it to, but just sits there adjusting its volume, with acompanying loud bleeps.

constantly.

so i'm screwed.

Thank you psychic powers.

I know this is silly, but have you tried turning it off, taking the battery out, putting the battery BACK in and turning it back on? For some reason, this works wonders with cell phones.
