Buffy refrence on THE OFFICE

Hey All

Not sure if any of you guys here are fans of THE OFFICE (I'm planning on going as Dwight for Halloween), but a week ago, there was a small but rewarding refrence to BUFFY on that show.

Last weeks ep "The Coup" had a Jim sub-plot where at Stamford, he was playing this WW2 MMORPG computer game with all the other co-workers there as part of this business training thing. But he's constantly getting killed. And his co-worker, Karen (Rashida Jones) has the best handle name I've seen.

She's called KarenTheJimSlayer.

Thought you guys would get a kick out of it.

Here's more Firefly connections to THE OFFICE.

Jeanna Fisher was in SLITHER with Nathan Fillion-she played the police dispatcher and Elizabeth Banks was in THE FORTY YEAR OLD VIRGEN with Steve Carrell.

Gregg Henry, the sheriff in The Train Job, IMHO almost stole SLTHER from Nathan.

It was also directed by James Gunn, who is Jeana Fishers' husband. James, Jeanna, Elizabeth Banks, her husband and Gregg Henry recently went to a barbecue at Nathan's house and pics were posted on Slither's myspace page. I don't have the link but some one else may.

So lots of FIREFLY/SLITHER connections.

BTW SLITHER will be released November 24 on DVD.
