yes....
I'm a little sceptical about ghosts aswell, I believe more that the brain is capable of almost anything.
I do have one spooky experience though - I have clear memories of dozing slightly on our old couch, and the dog climbing up onto the sofa, nestling into the crook of my knees and sighing as i reached down to scratch her ear and she fell asleep.
All about three months after she died.
So i find it heard to be totally sceptical, cause I treasure that memory.
Well, Simonwho, Sean, I shall definitly be meeting you in london on the 12th - I managed to get train tickets to london for £25!
£25!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bargainous!
so even if i have to stand outside the threatre while you all watch the play, i'll be there!
And i've just finished reading Jane Eyre.
Definitly prefer Austen.

Quite right too.
I have visions of arriving at the theatre, tying your lead to one of the bollards outside and saying "Stay! Stay!" then going in to watch it.
We'd bring you water during the interval.
We don't have Ghost Hunters, instead we have a programme called Most Haunted which has been exposed as fraudulent (as in the presenters are deliberately faking it) so many times now, even the TV watchdog has classified it as "entertainment".

well, you let us know if you have any premonitions about us then eh?
I had 1 experience when I was working with kids at a pysch hospitol. One of them brought something with them. motion sensors kept going off in the halls, and there was nothing there, there was acold spot, not near a vent, and when we called the other wing on the phone, they couldn't hear us, but we could hear them.
"But you sleep like a ghost with me
It's as simple as that
So tell me I'm mad
Roll me up and breathe me in
Come to my madness
My opium den
Come to my madness
Make sense of it again."
Goodbye to all that. III-The Opium Den (Brave)-Marillion

oh, thats the one where they sit in dark rooms, pointing night vision cameras Blair-witch style up their noses and asking the empty air for a 'sign'
And then that woman will suddennly freak out and start crying "Who blew in my ear! something just blew in my ear! you've got to be kidding me! something blew in my ear! you've got to be kidding me!" (guess what Yvette, they're kidding you)
And then that camp scouse guy will come in a talk about presences and how disturbed people are talking to him (yeah, tha'd be the Yvette mate...)maybe whinge a bit for authenticity and it will end on one of the researchers staring sweatily into the cameras, with flashbacks on motes of dust travelling accross the room, encircled in case we missed it the first 16 times, and saying that they didn't find a single shread of eveidence to support anything camp scouser said.
Yeah, great programming that.
Now i don't like you anymore Sean, a true friend and moreover, a true gentleman, would if not have offered me his ticket, would atleast smuggle in a concealed video camera.

Quote:Premonitions don't work like that I'm afraid. Premonitions are more like this general 'bad' feeling just before something 'bad' happens.

I have a tendency to cross roads without looking sometimes, with earphones in so I can't hear either. Sometimes I get this intense feeling in the pit of my stomach that makes me stop, it's at these times and only these times a car would have hit me. That's basically what premonitions are like.
Precognition (the dreams of the future) are very vivid, but even though I've tried you can't change anything, you still think feel and say the same things. Though I feel like I'm in control of what I'm doing during the dream, I don't really feel that when it's actually happening, it's weird.
Quote:Yeah I get that a lot, but as far as I knew SW was buying you a ticket, you could just not pay him back instead of having the Ice cream. You can have my Ice cream if you like.

oh see now you're being a sweetie and i'm forced to like you again,
Bastard.
I had the wierdest day today - not a good story either - a taxi driver, with two passengers in the back still, stopped his car on a roundabout next to the museum i work in a threatened to kill himslef with a huge knife.
The police cordened off the road and everywhere up the museums street (meaning we had to get our visitors out the back way, and then hang around ourselves in the building, phoning my mum regularly for the latest developments) (she works in the head office on the sixth floor which overlooks the roundabout and museum entrance, and could see everything)
where was I? Yes, they talked him down, got the two people out, sent him off to wherever, moved the car and got the traffic moving again.
What with this and the suicide a few months ago i'm beginning to think the museum cursed.
We do have mummies - could they be doing this? And several tribal ritual masks that ain't meant to be seen my anyone but the eldars and shaman of the tribe - right out on display.
But surely it would be the curators getting it in the neck?
I don't know, maybe its just reasons number 1000000000056 and 100000000057 why you should never live in liverpool.
