Firefly: Alternate Universe

Some of you may be wonderin' how good the story Firefly: Alternate Universe may be. Well, It's going good so far. But the wonderful thing about this fanfic is that it's based off of the Serenity RPG.

How so?

I run an online Serenity RP, and me and the others are writing in story format. It's turned out some really awesome writing, and I've compiled it into a story. It's still continuing, and will be updated consistantly.

I would like to invite all of you to read it. Just keep in mind that it is an alternate universe, and characters have a different background. Some characters, like Jayne and Wash, will be familiar, but they won't be on the ship, "Serenity". Instead, they went on a ship called "Odyssey" with a man called Captain William Kane and his wife Jade.

The story is already in 11 parts and growing. Please read and review it; tell me what you like and dislike.

I think what makes the Serenity/Firefly universe so interesting is all of the diverse characters together on the same ship. Their interactions, their likes, dislikes, etc.

So you may find a lot of people reluctant to read such an AU story. I prefer cannon fic as well, but good luck with the story.

Also, just wanted to let you know its a bit, I don't want to say rude, but I can't think of a less offensive term at the moment, to post 10 chapters of a story all at once.

i'm kind of suprised by that, you could always put them more "togther".

Also good to see someone using the "Ace and Eigths" crew from the RPG

Although you did kill most of them :P

BTW: idiotic question: One thing about the RPG is people can techinally build their own boat, just wondering if yours was a Firefly class or something different?

Leiasky, you beat me to the punch.

I was going to let you know, SaveWash, that posting 11 chapters back to back is known in fanfic as "flooding" the Blue Sun Room, and is a bit of bad etiquette.

*Generally not considered Manly or Impulsive.
