Please Please Please someone tell me what Gorram means? They say it all the time but I can't find it anywhere in the translations I have seen.

It's not a Chinese word, it's just an altered spelling of "goddamn".

Totally agreed, this thread is awesome and im really curious to go check out some of these sites. Also just wanted to add that anyone who has or wants to get the Serenity Roleplaying Game book the last few pages are a bit list of slang, phrases, and curses, a lot used in the show and some others so thats also a good place to look.

I believe that that is the direct translation, but I speak chinese, and no one really ever says that. They say more of a "wo xi huan ni" (xi is shee and ni is nee) which is I like you. Or "wo hen xi huan ni" (hen is hun) which is I really like you.
Do not touch anything unnecessarily. Beware of pretty girls in dance halls and parks who may be spies, as well as bicycles, revolvers, uniforms, arms, dead horses, and men lying on roads -- they are not there accidentally.
So the moral is...be paranoid.
