This had probably been suggested before, and I guess this should be addressed to Haken (he's the one who runs this site, right?) I was just thinking maybe there should be a newbie section in the forums. For introductions and the like, because sometimes they're missed because they're mixed in with other posts. I was just thinking about it and I thought I would just put it out there.

periodically someone will make a 'welcome' thread...but as soon as it has 50 or more posts, and takes a long time to upload (particularly if you have dial up) then it is abandoned....
it might be nice to have a welcome forum for new members,
it seems like something that should have been created back when Firefly was on TV
or when Serenity was being filmed
or when Serenity was coming on DVD....
but the fact is that we do still get new members all the time,
people who just rented it out of the blue,
or just saw one of Sci-fi's marathons,
or caught it on HBO....
so maybe we'll never stop getting new members
(hopefully we never will)
