AZHEA,
Since this is a thread on etiquitte, I was wondering if there are rules about using someone else's banners. I love your "So there IS kissing" pics. I'm new to the site, so I was wondering if borrowing a banner for personal use is considered stealing?

I'm developing a little Firefly site to introduce my friends to the 'Verse. I'd love to add it to the site, but I find it's best to ask first. Would you be willing to share it?

Emoticons, oh no. I just figured out how to get the quotes, italics. and underline right. My education was pre-internet revolution, so I'm not exactly tech savey. But, I'm learning more with each passing day and appreciate the patience and advice. Thanks.

And I think I learned something else last week; don't respond to posts when your pissed. It comes across as petty and juvenile. I will try to observe that little rule (even if it is my own) along with the others. Thanks again.

Edit- Perhaps the better rule would be not to get pissed about what an anonymous stranger posts on a message board. Talk about things that really don't matter...

That's when my education was as well. I am fortunate in my internet saavy RL friends.

Am still a little unsure of chat even though I've done it a few times. I still tend to treat it like a dangerous snake or something.

Both are valuable lessons. I tend to take several days to cool off. By then the issue is pretty much a moot point anyway.

6ixString, now tell us how you really feel!
LOL.

Yepper, the best thing to do when someone
has disgraced him/herself with ill-considered
pixel-patterns is not to go bat-stuff but just
to leave it alone. I notice that some of
the nasty things people say may actually be
withdrawn later, which can leave a hasty
responder standing there with foam all over
his (or her)mouth, looking rather silly.

Especially if they're not brushing their teeth at the time.

Okay, I'm in smarta$$ mode now. This means it's probably time for bed. Either that or it's time to give my backside an IQ test.
