Prayer "works" in the minds of theists. That's good enough for me. We shouldn't knock it.

Name me a "Society" that is not "religious". It doesn't exist.

For mine own, I'd take two hands helping over a thousand clasped in Prayer - which is not to say you can't Pray *WHILE* helping, couldn't hurt, I guess.
