great ideas everyone. I think everyone playing Mal when needed will make dialogue smoother.
and if i understood what you guys were saying about the current situation, I'll wrap up the fight so you can finish your deal. hope that's ok with everyone... if not, we can always change it

Zach, I'm so sorry to hear that you have to go. I have very much enjoyed (read "sometimes lived for") the interaction between your Wash and my Zoe. I always got a big kick out of working with you on these scenes, and it will pain me greatly to lose that. If it's okay with the rest of the group, I will take over the Wash role (as necessary) until/unless we find another RPer to pick it up (or Zach comes back!!).

(Man, this whole thing just makes me want to cry... )

Also, I will be posting for Zoe (and Wash *sniff*) a little later in the day. Got a couple things I have to do at work before I can compose a good post.

Man alive, I sure expected a lot more posts than what I see! Where is everyone today? (With the exception of Astriana--she's at work, OF COURSE! ) Oh, and it's quite fine by me if you play Wash for the nonce.

Edit: Added a small move for Kaylee. I was starting to feel lonely. LOL.

About the unfortunate departure of Zachsmind and the Wash role: I'll take on that role this week. If it's too difficult for me to play both Zoe and Wash, RavenWhyteWing will step in on Monday and take over the role. (He and I have talked about this, and are both agreeable.) If he starts playing Wash and feels it's too much for him to play both Wash and Brink Helsing (Raven, do you want him to go by Brink or Helsing?), he can choose which character to continue with and we can put out a casting call for the other.

About Humble's status and the Mal role: Geezer has agreed to post for Mal until we hear whether Humble will be able to continue the role. If Humble won't be able to, we can probably put out a casting call at that point, and Geezer can keep Mal moving minimally until someone else joins up.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled role play...

PS ~ Gosh, it's gonna be time to start a new OOC thread soon, too!
