I'm pretty much of the same opinion as ManiacNumberOne ~ The more the merrier. The only thing I really do in an "organizing" capacity is *try* to keep up with making sure the new threads get posted, and occasionally post a quick synopsis for everyone (usually when someone asks where everyone is/what everyone's doing). (I've also been working on the Act-by-Act synopses, but as you can tell, I've fallen a little behind. ) We run mostly by concensus ~ You've read the RP threads, so you know what I'm talking about here.

The mercenary thing sounds like a cool idea... if we (the group) can get a little more detail, we might be able to help you find a way to work your character into the role play. We probably won't be leaving Hera right away, since there's still Thorne's (Geezer's) side job to pull and Helsing (RavenWhyteWing) to get on board as well.

Idea thought: Geezer and Raven had mentioned the possibility of having been connected in some way to facilitate Helsing getting on board before we leave atmo. Maybe that same kind of idea will work for bringing you in. Maybe an acquaintance of either of those two (you'd have to work it out with them, of course). Of course, you could come up with your own ideas, too. We're pretty flexible...

Also, the best way to get into the "Green Room" chat is to click on the link in the thread. My computer doesn't like IRC very much, but the links work great for me. I'm going to start a new out of character (OOC) thread, too, since the one we're using is getting too long and bogged down. I'll post the links in the thread, so everyone can get to them.

Actually haven't had a chance yet. (Doing this while at work has one major disadvantage... WORK! )

This weekend is going to be difficult for me. My home computer is a laptop, and the keyboard on it died the day before yesterday (why I wasn't on last night). Until it's fixed, I'm doing everything from work, with will only be til 5:30pm EST today, then I won't be at work again until 9:30am EST Monday. I'll see what I can do.

Condolences on your computer troubles, Astriana. Thanks for the new Thread!

Came to me this morning why Rowan knows as much as she does about Companions. Pretty as she is, her sister was the REAL pretty one and was taken in at the Academy on Sihnon. She's currently in the occupation - possibly on one of those luxery liners Mal mentioned in OiG - but during her training, she visited home and shared her knowledge in sister talk with Rowan.

Humble brought up the idea in a previous post that Rowan is going to New Hikara (sp? promise I'll look it up right now and write it down) for a reason or two. I'm thinking one would be a high stakes nine-ball tournament, rather like the set up in "Maverick". Large entry fee, winner takes all. She'll also meet her sister while she's there. She'll have to do it secretly, however, for both her sake and her sister's.

Rowan's nine-ball nick name is "Black Dragon"
