TheRealMe touches a control to cycle the hanger bay and open the huge airlock doors.
"Who's flying this thing? Ah, that would be Wisp! Take her out, please. I suggest that we land somewhere where we could hide the shuttle, then we can go into the nearest town and barter for some space chickens. Or at least do some recon. Also, I have brought these along."
TheRealMe overturns a pouch, dropping a small shower of gold and silver pieces and a few small gems.
"Oh, and would someone kindly volunteer to take command of the Sereni-Tree while we are gone? Serenity? SimonWho? Who else is staying? Jet?"

Wisp gently eased the shuttle in reverse before makning a wide turn to face the planet. The entry into the atmosphere was smooth and without incident and all of the new technologies worked fine.
They landed on a shallow bluff overlooking a glacial valley. Below them were miles and miles of rivers and farmlands. A small village could be seen made of ramshackle houses with a stone church at one end and a waterwheel. There were several other villages like this but in the distance was a huge placial stone fortress.
"were Here Now lets go herd up some space chickens"

Plus, I can't remember the last time I had more than 4hrs of sleep in a row.
Have fun storming the castle..er..rounding up the firebreathing space chickens!!

surely though, if we wanted space chickens... we should have stayed in space?
Ah, nevermind.
*delicatly mounts one of the chickenbots (sidesaddly, like a proper lady of course), and spends a few minutes trying to get it to point in the direction of the castle*

"or if i here explosions and things. In The meantime im going to go corrupt a young wench in the local saloon" He spurs the chicken and rides down the hill.
Jadehand looks to Mai and says

Wisp rolls into town on his feathery steed without causing anyone to bat an eyelid. He spots the local bar with several other poultry outside. These werent the fire breathing kind they were trying to liberate just normal mounted fowl.
Walking inside he found a cabaret show and a well stocked bar. He walked up to the bar first and nodded. He waited for the bar tender to speak so he could confirm the language of the planet.
"hulloo i aint seen u aboot where yooo froom??" The language appeared to be canadian.
"Nooo Im neeewww, Ill have a whisky" Wisp turned from the bar and scanned the area with his Xray vision. He found just about everyone in the bar was carrying a sword although none of them wore extensive armour.
He relaxed and settled in to watch the show.

"You should know that there's absolutely no chance of that. The social mores of Zanzibar are quite different from those you are used to. Any "wench" you might find in a tavern will be worldly enough to know the score. She might teach you a thing or two though, if she finds you worthy of her time. That doesn't mean you shouldn't go and have some fun, but don't kid yourself while you are doing it."
