Haken, I've got a problem with E-mail notification!

Greetings, oh great Haken!
I, too, am now having the notification issue. I do not have a spam blocker in place. I can send and receive regular email, but I am not receiving the notifications. I do not mess with the buttons at the bottom of the respond screen. This is the first time this has happened to me, and I have been on this site since April of this year. It's not really a major issue, but I do use the notification to find out who has responded to what.

Email problems? I still can't even get on the site normally as my IP number is 'still blocked' for some reason. Having to use a proxy browser instead which also means I don't get any graphics or smilies. :^\

I think I'm having the same problem of Email notification as the others on this thread.
I have not received a notification in two days and I'm sure people have replied to the site I've traversed.

I hate to add my voice to the chorus, but I'm having the same problem. I didn't realize it until today when I discovered I had some responses in threads and I never received e-mail notification. This has never happened to me before, as far as I know.

im glad im not the only with this problem, its good to know im not hallucinating. how do you know if you have a spam blocker? i dont think i have one, i get junk mail all the time and some of that stuff is freaky freaky.
plus i have the "notify" address as a contact in my email options. before i check my mail i have a notice i got my mail from my contacts, which always brings a big damn smile to my face.

Thank you for running this wonderful boat.
I mean "board."
I've stopped getting notifications ~Aug. 18
or 19.
Now Aug. 20, & there were no "notifies"
in my in-box. May mean nobody wants to tell
me anything, or may be a board symptom.
Before coming here this evening I put
notify@fireflyfans.net into my address
book so Webmail spamblocker wouldn't
sweep it up.
I never un-check the "notify" box under
Options farther down on the message form.
Will add to this if anything changes.
ETA: Test message below did not result
in a "notify" in my Webmail in-box.
