I'll do the best I can here, but remember that the RP is pretty fluid, so things can change before you read this. Best thing is to keep an eye on the RP thread to keep up-to-date.

Whats this new job or deal that the crew has?

That's really a two-parter. The entire RP starts with us picking up some cargo (we're asssuming guns) for Badger and dropping it off. In dealing with Thorne, we've picked up what is supposed to be a quick side job at the docks (Dock 4) before we can pick up our initial cargo and finish the initial job.

What kind of world are they on?

They're on Hera - it's an Alliance planet, but I don't think it's in the Core (not sure). Specifically, they are in Serenity Valley for the pickup.

What kind of world are they planning to go to?

They are heading for New Hikido to drop off the guns from the main job. No idea what kind of planet that is. Haven't heard much about it yet. I'm guessing it's an outer/rim planet. I imagine they will then head for Persephone to turn over Badger's share of the take.

Oh... and what happened to Simon?

The exact answer for that has to come from CapnRahn, but my best guess is that Simon injected himself and/or Niska with something to give him psychic/mindreading abilities so they can get some answers from Niska without having to set him free.

Hopefully that clears it up a little.

How often do you guys post? I'm not sure how often I should check for updates. I don't want to fall behind or get too far ahead.

Everyone's posting times/styles are different. Use the thread as a guide. Mostly, we try to integrate our moves with everyone else's. Sometimes one of the more experience players will be able to bring the group to a coherent spot where the entire game can move forward. Don't worry, we're really easy to play with. If you do something that needs help being integrated, we'll let you know (probably in the OOC thread, rather than in the IC thread), and there's always the 'edit' function for your own posts.

Lets see if I can place the players.

Mal, Rowan, and Inara - Heading towards the engine room. Rowan scantily clad.

Kaylee & River - Kaylee carrying the passed-out River out of engine room.

Simon - In his bunk, having just awakened from a terrible dream

Book - Kitchen; singing and cooking

Wash - Out in town buying 50 cases of tequila.

Zoe - Bridge, I guess.

Jayne - workout bench.

Niska - cryo-stasis in sick bay

Thorne - waiting for Mal and crew to show up for the robbery, near Dock 4

Jubal Early - Off somewhere being King of the Reavers

Helsing - On fireflys ramp, hearing shots

Damon - running towards dock, Feds in hot pursuit.

Any errors, someone please correct.

Thanks Boomer, what a good heart you have. It's fun to try out different aspects of what I think Bookk is like. He's multifaceted for sure.
I much enjoyed making that avatar, and I'm very thankful to Haken for taking time out of his busy life to screw around with such a piddly little thing for me. Thanks again Haken!

Niska's still in the infirmary, last I checked.

Zoe is indeed on the bridge, probably about to move toward the commotion (being that I haven't posted a move in a bit).

Wash - Haven't heard from Zachsmind since Wash was on the bridge, listening to Zoe give instructions for getting ready for the mini-job. Bearing that in mind, I'm assuming that Wash is still on the bridge for the moment. Hopefully Zach will be able to post a move for Wash soon.
