I've always felt entirely the opposite, for some reason I can't explain. When I do journal, I tend to publish it on the web. There is the possibility that this restrains me, sometimes, though...but then it doesn't matter to me because writing it down does nothing for me if I don't show the world.
Also, found some writing I did back in eighth grade yesterday...wow. It's not the greatest, but I think it obvious that I had some measure of talent. I should have worked with that. Sadly, I did not ;(

oh1 my mum found some work i did in primary school andf gave it back to me a few years ago - it was a project on Britain and our little patch of it - starting from where i was born, if i'd been on any holidays, a history of britain and what we like about it.
well, i lived in birkenhead 'which is not nice' and hollidayed in Wales 'with sheep and fields and my uncle, and liked that britan had so many dragons. my favorites were the one who lived in the park.
it had very neatly coloured in maps (i can actually picture myself tongue out concentrating hard on staying in the lines) some very pretty pictures of the dragons, and a lovely marbled ink cover.
I want to go back to primary school - i like that version of britain.

Did anyone see that film with Christain Bale in where nasty dragons invade britain and destroy everything? I though it was alright, apart from that wierd pumped up guy who kept grunting all the time, he kinda ruined it for me. Less grunting, more dragons!

I used to like manga a lot, but my interest has faded. I still consider Ghost in the Shell to be really cool. I like the existentialist touch. I was always noticing the dumbing down when I watched animes. I don't like it when there are motivations and politics that are crucial and yet unexplained. I felt like there was some translator in Japan who thought that gaijin minds are incapable of digesting issues of any complexity. Then again I look at most of America and think he may be right. A presidential election got stolen in plain sight of every one and no one noticed.
If we are going traveling I'm going to Iceland and then on to somewhere else.

It had moments, but I had plausibility issues with the story. Okay, dragons I can believe, but the helicopter, no. Helicopters are extremely dependant on spare parts, well refined fuel and a large crew of service professionals. In a post apocalyptic world there will be no helicopters.
Oh the grunting guy was Matthew McConnahey, from Sahara, U-571, A Time to Kill. Apologies if i misspelled the last name.
Don't feel ashamed that you said you wanted to see a man naked. It just allows us men to be more comfortable when we say we want to see a woman naked.

ah, Matthew MConky - i don't know anyone who can spell his name, which is silly as its very simple, not like M. Night Shyamalan. I just don't think anyone is that worried.
Didn't he get arrested for playing the bongo's naked?
But yes, i reign of fire, the only thing i remember is that his constant grunting annoyed me. The helicopter thing was strange, but i didn't realise why till now, what you say makes sense i suppose.
I liked the bit where they are acting out Star Wars though, that was amusing.
Can you imagine if Bush gets what he wants for christmas and we all end up in some post apocalyptic world, how would re-enactments of the dino/this land scene go down without dinos?
