Wuss!

Unagi is cooked. Anything with eel, in fact, is cooked.

PHOENIXROSE, I was down in Tijuana here some time back. Had myself some barbecued iguana by a radio station. I think it was a Mexican Radio station.

Ever had barbecued iguana? Quite tasty

Zzetta, I wish I was in Tijuana eating barbecued iguana. I'd take requests on the telephone...on a wavelength far from home....

I feel the hot wind on my shoulder
And the touch of a world that is older
I hit the switch and check the number
I leave it on and then I slumber
I hear the rhythm ringing through it
Flamenco guitar y Cumbia music
I hear the talking of the DJ
Let's have a listen
What does he say?

I'm on a Mexican radio
I'm on a Mexican radio

I dial it in and tune the station
They talk about the Iraq invasion
I understand just a little
No comprende it's a riddle

I'm on a Mexican radio
I'm on a Mexican radio

I wish I was in Tijuana
Sipping back and ice cold cahuama
I take requests on the telephone
I'm on a wavelength far from home
I feel the hot wind on my shoulder
I dial in from south of the border
I hear the talking of the DJ
Let's try to figure out
What does he say?

I'm on a Mexican radio
I'm on a Mexican radio

Another spicy tuna with extra wasabi here, please! I love everything but eel and octopus. I love that Sushi is pretty much the only thing you can totally stuff yourself silly with and actually feel BETTER afterwards.

I'm trying to get my mom to try it. She's a bit old school and the idea of it grosses her out, but she started to get interested when I told her it was a lot like lox (smoked salmon for you goys) with rice wrapped around it ;)

Walk tall, or don't walk at all...

Having grown up with a Japanese grandmother I had sushi since I was able to eat solid food, but for some reason I keep on coming back to tekka maki. I have no idea why. Perhaps its the simplicity, or the comfort, or maybe it's just that I don't like the ones that have been rolled in salmon eggs.
