Also a suggestion,
I noticed folks are talking about making this a regional thing, I think its better for everyone to work together for it, if yall want to hit more than one magazine, then set goal #1, make the second magazine goal #2 etc, it wont hurt to stagger it and it keeps us from being a divided force, everyone working together instead of promoting smaller parts of the project will be more effective.

I am a noob to this stuff but I am willing to help with my share of time and money. I am glad to find that Firefly/Serenity community is alive and well.

I just recently bought an extra copy of the Firefly Box set that I use solely for the purpose of "Missionary" work to convert people to firefly(Im' sure Book would be proud of me ;) ). Once converted I tell them to buy the movie... you see where its going.

Anything that I can do to help please e-mail me @ Mandragon03@gmail.com.

Hey all, read this: http://www.everwoodmusic.com/forum/everwood1318.html

Notice how quidkly they raised $10,000. It also tells how the fans of Everwood put a big Ferris wheel next to the offices of Fox (I think, I havent read it all that carefully). But, the most interesting part is all the reporters they got there. (although I cant find any articles on it). Also, when I found some pictures, it didnt look like the turnout was all that good, but, it still is an interesting idea in addition to the Variety magazine (they did that also.)

See my original thread here: http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=22311&m=352346#352346

Do you all think a newspaper ad or a PR stunt (see here: http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=22311) would be more effective? Im still pondering...
