Got little time these next two months,but I do have money for the cause!
Maybe the best way for folks to stay connected on this project would be to send you or FollowMal their E-mails.That way you could easily get in touch with this pool of volunteers when the time comes to collect resources.
Just an idea.

When the time comes just let me know and I will mobilize my local crew... are you in contact with all the captains of the local crews? They are a force to be reckoned with and have contacts with many browncoats who do not venture onto the boards...

Thanks for the info on the cost of the ad - it helps us have a goal to shoot for. I think we could do that without too much of a problem...but then again, we should ask those who did it the first time. It seems like now is the perfect time for one of these...it sort of seems like now or never - you know? So, I think we should give it a shot. It might be a great culmination to the Summer of Serenity campaign.

Is there some place with a comprehensive listing of all the local crews and their e-mail addresses? If so, could you send me the link?
We have a few things in our favor this time--the injection of lots of fired up newbies, the ongoing popularity of the box set/BDM and the power of the blogosphere.
If we could get every Brownocat who has a blog, knows someone who has a blog and/or contributes regularly to a blog, to get the word out about what we are trying to do, it would be like absolute wildfire. We could raise a lot of money very quickly.
We're still in the beginning stages of this idea, but I am beginning to see how it could work. I'll keep the board posted as to progress.
