Not intentionally ... can't remember any Neil Young songs right off hand.
But can you 'see' where it is 'going'?

Rode through the desert on a horse with no name. A song lamenting Alliance vets as tragic heroes sounds pretentious. Alliance won the war after all. Was thinking song, if you use a song, should be more about present day circumstances immediate to crew of Justarius. Maybe not even a song but voice only intro describing the crew and their purpose would be more dramatic. Also seem less like more of the same as compared to Firefly. More innovative and more like your own creation.

This is not about all Alliance Vets, just our crew.
Dragonfly is supposed to be a parallel ... the art is telling the other side ... of OUR folks who thought they were fighting for one thing and found out their Superiors LIED to them ...
the song progresses to the current state of our crew ... when I get it finished. 
The Justiciar is the "Ship of NO Fame" ... the Alliance ship (Name - anyone? a synonymm of Enterprise meebe ) is the "Ship of SOME Fame" noted in the first chorus...
