The Second Gala Pageant is running smoothly. Needy is in the middle of changing from his G-swim to a sexy red dress when Serenity, one of the judges, suddenly goes into labor. Then Corbin the Yeti goes into labor, too. Serenity is carried up to her nest in the observation lounge, located on the highest deck of the Sereni-Tree. Since it is the Yeti way to have babies while submerged in rivers or lakes, the other Yeti take Corbin to our Olympic sized swimming pool.

On the way up to the observation lounge, Soul decides that he wants to be married to Serenity before the baby comes. So that we would have a captain to perform the ceremony, TheRealMe assumed command of the Sereni-Tree and ordered her into the air (thinking that a ship must be under way before a captain can perform a ceremony). Quincey on the bridge and Jet in engineering get the ship airborne. Advised by Doctor SimonWho to hurry, TheRealMe performs a quick, improvised ceremony despite Soul’s habit of going catatonic and fainting. Cozen pops in JUST too late to be somebody that objects to the wedding. Jazaf uses his super-power to shape a pair of wedding bands for the couple, then retreats from the scene when the birth becomes imminent. He takes off to call in some favors for a nice present.

The baby girl, named Seraphina, is born. She has darling little angel wings.

Immediately after the birth, one of the Yeti grabs SimonWho and takes him to the swimming pool, where Corbin delivers her baby. In gratitude for the doctor’s help, she names the baby SimonYeti.

Mai and Jadehand spend a lot of time together. Mai’s birthday occurs and Jadehand brings her a cake. At one point, Jadehand takes the Ocean Cloud and travels to the piratical Sea of Wings to get a present for Serenity’s baby.

LightMeDark stirs a few times from his customary seat at the bar to hang around with his animal friends. He encourages bunny dances.

Cozen is aghast that Seryn shampooed his llama friend, Schwartz.

Seryn and ScorpionRegent spent a lot of time together. Seryn’s bunny breeding program seems to have had wild successes. She has begun to distribute bunnies all around the ship, including a pair to Mai’s pet brontosaurus, Frederick.

The baby shower is readied. Jake7 goes nuts with a camera, taking pictures of everything and everybody. The young orphans Shadow and Ghost leave a present for baby Seraphina, as does Safeat2nd (A pair of baby combat boots that were his as a child and a teddy bear with butterfly wings). Cozen supplies a gross tonne of diapers, which Serenity estimates will last a week.

Rat (fresh from the cryo tanks), Wisp (awakening and turning over in his bed of popcorn) and PsychicRiver (still caught in elsewhen talking to another version of himself) sort of pop in for quick hellos.

TheRealMe uses the Sereni-Tree’s grappler arms to transfer the Original Clubhouse from the cargo bay to a branch of the Tree. With the permanent dimensional portal, anyone will be able to go back and forth between the Treehouse and the Sereni-Tree.

Oh, and as the last judge not incapacitated, Malicious declares HERSELF the winner of the Second Gala Pageant and runs off to her quarters with her second set of Miss ‘Verse regalia.

Hello! The existing Guide to the Sereni-Tree is still current enough, I suppose. Link to it from the first post if you want to get an idea of exactly what the Sereni-Tree is (actually, it's a huge space ship). But we do need an update on the crew list.

Under active crew I have put everyone who has posted something in the last two threads (about the last two months). I also stuck in River-clone and Seraphina, having no better catagory. I shuffled others off to the MIA list. I completely removed a few folks who only posted a time or so several threads ago (BeautifulDisaster, Superpup, and WitchOfTheDogs).

The Active Crew and Passengers of the Sereni-Tree

13: New recruit with plot ideas somewhat on the far side of outlandish.

CallMeAth aka Ath (Pilot): With Lissa, creator of the kissies; Romantically interested in Kelly; Powers: pyro-kinesis, predictive parrying, and bat wings. Rarely, he shows Jedi powers (but then he usually turns into his dark alter ego, Darth Ath).

CallMeSerenity aka Serenity aka Bride8 (Gardener): Ath’s sister; built greenhouse in cargo bay; New parent of baby Seraphina (with husband Soul); Skilled with katanas. Power: flight via blue-white angelic wings.

Cozen aka The Infinite Goof: Kidnaps women and subjects them to pleasurable torture; Power: insect and clone creation / control. Has pet llama, Schwartz.

Jadehand aka BlackJackRackham aka EVERYBODY! (Brewer and Gunner) : As the pirate Black Jack Rackham, the ex- husband of ThatWeirdGirl. Has developed a romantic interest in Mai. Power: nametags of shapeshifting, which allows him to become anyone, at a price!

Jake7 (Gunner): Volunteers for all the hard missions; enjoys a game of pool. Powers: confuses chickens; gadget that projects force fields and grants night vision.

Jazaf: Master swordsman, mystery man, Sensei to Bride2; has recently mutated arm that MIGHT be fixed now; Power: metal-shaping.

KellyofLuthien (Cook): Red-headed Elf woman interested in Ath. Pleasant, helpful. Powers: Immortality, Elvish magic; wielder of the Ring of Fire Narya and the magic sword Nardol.

LightMeDark aka LMD aka Elemdee (Animal Handler): Tends to remain drunk; had an interest in Mai. Powers: banana powers? Understands speech and writing of all creatures.

Lissa: With Ath, creator of the kissies; tends to prefer the calmer times (and jacuzzi parties).

Mai (Cruise Director / Tour Guide): Not an attack-and-kill kind of girl; has pet dinosaur Frederick; sometimes disappears and has to be quested for. Interested in Jadehand. Power: light generation.

McQ: A cyborg, formerly an Alliance experiment. Not big on people skills. Powers: impressive guns, a jet pack, and other cyborg-ish gadgets.

MontanaGirl (MedAssistant and Vet); Likes Cozen’s kidnapping methods. Likes things to go boom! NASCAR fan. Has ferret friend Dale.

Needy (Companion): A confused boy whore who sometimes talks to angels only he can see. Power: Indestructible.

PsychicRiver (Security Deputy): Son of TWG and SimonWho from the future. Just a little crazy; knits; Currently off in elsewhen talking to his once or future self. Powers: telepathy, precognition, telekinesis.

River-clone: River-clone seems to be back from the dead after healing Ath. Powers: a mind-reading genius with a leaky brainpan.

Rat (Acquisitions Officer / Lee pilot): Troublemaker; messes with things; Powers: inventor, weather prediction, elemental blasts. Missing for some time, but recently climbed out of the cryo tanks.

Safeat2nd: A pilot and former Alliance officer who objected to certain brutal orders from his superiors. Departed Sereni-Tree with Dagger’s crew to look for his old buddy CastIronJack. Took ISSCV dropship with him. Currenly gone from Sereni-Tree but at least he left a cut present for Serenity’s baby.

Alright, here's a plot-line, however crappy and non-relative.

An ancient prophecy is discovered in the cutlery drawer, speaking of the coming of a Dark Harbinger, an enormous space rooster that will bring with it the tides of destruction, and by extension, the end of life itself.

The Knights of the Octagonal Ottoman, led by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud, and the Ghost of Tom Berenger, (members of which including, but not limited to: Peter Parker, Hatshepsut, and Pazuzu) are attempting to stop previously mentioned chaotic space rooster.

She looked up at SR "I mean in theory - you were once small enough to fit these.... But i don't believe it."

SR shrugs.
