Do I want to know how you found that page with the leather collar?

Okay, personally, I think you should get this one:

I think it's gorgeous and with your hair and everything, it would just pop.

I have got to stop looking at sarees, I'm going crazy!

Bustin into your thread.

For those not brave enough to tackle an actual saree, how about salwar lengha? I love them. eBay item #180009792623 is an example (not an extremely good one, they don't have it on the right mannequin so it fits weird). They are a long full skirt, a choli and a dupatta. I like a big dupatta that is at least a couple of yards long to drape around, tucking it in at my right front waist, pulling it across my belly, then under my left arm, then up over my back and over my right shoulder to hang in gathers down over my right arm. It gives the look of saree without the danger of the whole thing falling off at inopportune moments.

Oh, I'm ready to tackle a sari.

The sari may win, but I'm going to give it a try!

Galoshes are rain boots, rubber overshoes with or without buckles. Maybe a shoe supply/repair company would carry the buckles?

Sahara, I thought that would be a way to go, too...so far, no luck. Thank you, though!

Simon did you get my Pm? Let me know.

The only problem is that it say it takes 4-6 weeks to come. so i may be asking if it can go to you and you just send me the blouse peice to make up, then i'll pick up the rest at D*C. But if i win it, i'll email him and find out what the avrage times are - i've seen things stated as months and they arrive a few days later, so i'll ask him what his typical times are.

but isn't it beautiful?

Tristan, was this at all what you were looking for? it was the closest i could find. http://www.mjtrim.com/catalog/product.aspx?product=30159&variant=---GU

Ha ha! you're not going to believe this, but thats the one i've been hanging my nose over all this time, its so nice isn't it? just beautiful.Oh, i wish i could afford both of them! argh! i could murder my incompetant managers for hiring an incompetant buffon over me and thus denying me the saree purchasing power i could have enjoyed were I now an incompetant manager!

um... did that make sense to anyone?

well, if i don't win the one i'm bidding one, then it will be mine! (BWAH HA HA HA HA HAAAAA!)

*cough* yes, to stop looking at saree's would be good.

Seryn, no, but thank you. Apparently, the closures I am looking for are no longer made...which adds another level of "Arrgghh!"
