Ah, okay.
Stayin' 'till the end of credits in my theatre is. . . not possible. Between the mass of humanity stampeding for the doors, and the theatre staff charging in to chase you out with brooms, it's just not that enjoyable.

Well, for a 70 minute movie it was pretty good. For a 2+ hour movie it sucked.

I agree. The editors knife is sorely needed in this movie.
Besides the "shiny" and "hold" Firefly references did anyone else think the musical score was at times down right Edmondsonesque? Something I've been noticing a lot of in recent TV/movie productions

"Damsel in distress"?? Was I watching the same Curse of the Black Pearl? She kicked a little bit of ass in that one, and just a bit more in this one.
The problems I had with the movie were a little different, I guess. The fight on the wheel made me dizzy, for one, but other than that it worked okay. Little long.
A lot of the humor was that kind of "sitcom humor" that makes me wince and go "What's next?" But it did make me laugh.
Will getting the key was dumb. He went at it from the wrong side and I find it hard to believe he wouldn't be noticed at all.
I'm wondering why Davey Jones looked a lot like a certain Elder God.
I'm wondering what the odd sexual tension between Elizabeth and Captain Jack was all about. Well, her part of it, anyway. And what's going to happen between her and Will, now?
And how did Barbosa magically come back to life? (yet the monkey is still undead.)
A lot of people liked Barbosa, but I never did. I'm not excited to see him back, but I'm curious as to exactly how he did it, which will presumably be revealed when they go after Jack.
And if the Kraken was after him, why was it still going after the Pearl while he was rowing away?
They need nitpickers for their script.
With all that, I enjoyed it and will likely see it again. I loved the referenaces to the first movie

Flying Dutchman Sighting!
(from Fortean Times)
Quote:
11 July. In 1881 George, Prince of Wales (later King George V), as a 16-year-old naval cadet on HMS Inconstant off the Australian coast, wrote in his log book: 'At 4am the 'Flying Dutchman' crossed our bows. A strange red light as a of a phantom ship aglow... Thirteen persons altogether saw her, but whether it was van Deimen of the 'Flying Dutchman' or what else must remain unknown. The Tourmaline and Cleopatra... flashed to ask whether we had seen the strange red light.' At 10:45am, the seaman who first sighted the spectral ship fell to his death.
