Name: 13 (a.k.a Bot-Boy, Pistol-Pants, Clementine, real name unknown)
Age: ??
Planet of Origin: Zenith
Affiliation: None
Occupation: Blue Sun Privateer
Weapons of Choice: the retractable Pemier sword, his mitts (He's an awful shot)
Appearance: Knotted, cagey brown hair, pale skin (a result of living on Zenith, a dark planet), roughly 5'9, compact but well-muscled. His most striking feature is the black, almost industrial '13' tattooed onto his cheek. Not even he knows who put it there or why.

Bio: Former crewman of the ruined ship High Charity, 13 first came to Serenity as a stowaway, locked in a crate. After a brief but extremely interesting stay on Serenity, 13 was shot dead by the lovebot Fran for reasons unknown.

Almost-dead body taken by HC Captain XIII, he was augmented through much complicated scientificy stuff, resulting in him being nearly indestructable and effectively immortal. 13 returned to Serenity and has stayed there ever since. Mal loathes 13, but cannot space him for, yes, once again, unknown reasons.

13 was employed as a privateer for the Blue Sun corporation at Three Hills, acting as their enforcer for the Border Planets. His ship, the Animinaru, is the pinnacle of Blue Sun technology.

Interesting facts: 13 has attempted to kill the entire crew of Serenity through the ambiguous influence the Blue Sun. He may or may not be in love with Fly. Oh, and apparently he can defy the laws of physics, as demonstrated by the car-to-car jumping thing on Londinium. (Or is it Londinaum?)

Best known for: Coming back to life, suffering from a nasty hero complex, never leaving survivors, brooding.

Education: Academically taught by Wesley Lu Greham, self-taught swordplay.

Fun Trivia: When 13 first came to Serenity, Ertia was skeptical and worried about his presence, and how he seemed to force the rest into things. But the two eventually became friends, resulting in numerous leg-huggings!

First Appearance: Sailing the Black: Journey to Newhall.

appearance- Average. Depends on what day of the week it is.
Weapon- stolen laser pistol (What?! I've got the proper paperwork!)

Occupation; Forger and Hacker

Best Known For - Hiding under bunks during firefights and accidently shooting fellow crewmembers.

Ertia became a top computer hacker in school, catching the attention of the Blue Sun Coporation where she was hired before she even graduated.

By 23 she was married to another top computer agent, and had the world at her feet.

In just a few short years, she would be arrested and brought to trial for crimes against Blue Sun Corporation. Imprisoned on Valdez Penal Moon, she planned her escape, only to learn that her beloved husband had died during his incarceration. Her family and friends had turned their backs on her, afraid to go against the Alliance and Blue Sun.

At 28, she offered her services to a tramp frieghter, just a quick job of changing some troublesome cargo labels. Mal hired her on permanently, and, finally, she's putting her past behind her, and learning to love and trust again.

She doesn't share JR's passion for jalepeno laden foods, and tends to negotiate rather than fight.

Appearance: Muscular (but not too muscular) build, hazel eyes, brown hair, and could use a shave now and then.

Weapons: Pain has over 60 known weapons from handguns to a rocket launcher. His trademark weapons are two black Desert Eagle .44 semi auto pistols in leg holsters, combat knife, and a snub nosed S&W 327PC .357 revolver in an ankle holster.

Occupation: Mercenary

Background: Pain grew up on Santo and lived with his parents until their untimely death when he was 8. Pain soon came to live with his uncle on Persephone where at 15 he started work at his uncle's courier business where he learned how to fly a shuttle. At 18 he met Fly and one year later they started a relationship which lasted 15 years. Fly was the first person to introduce Pain into the life of a mercenary at the age of 25. Since then both Pain and Fly have been working together as guns for hire, even when they broke up 4 years ago. One day Mal was looking for a few more gunhands and both Pain and Fly jumped at the chance. It has been almost three years since Pain and Fly have been on Mal's crew and they wouldn't change that for all the platinum in the verse. Pain is currently in a budding relationship with Ertia and will do anything to protect her.

Sidenote: The secret to Pain's nickname is because during his time living with his uncle he was a pain in the pigu, hence the nickname Pain.
