Thought i'd add mine then:

Age: Never going to say
Occupation: Trinkit Seller
Planet of Origin: Shadow
Appearance: Round-ish with cropped brown hair, small amount of stubble, blue eyes, and a newly aqquired bullet in the right leg
Weapon of Choice: 24th Century version of the AK-47 and a sharp fishing knife

Details: Born in a small coloney of Shadow till family was moved onto New Shadow before the war. During the war was drafted into an Alliance squad that "protected" Stanley Mountain. six months after they went up Choo and five other people were the only people who came down...

After the war started in the odds, ends and antiques market till he went freelance five years ago. Hasn't looked back since . With all this selling to the rich Choo used to know the Kind of Londinium well, until they fell out other a major hoopball game, a passion they both share. Is also wanted a planet for stealing (forgotten which).

Thanks for the bump Guy! (even though you just shot me in another thread...

I promise to not hold that against you here...

Here's my long pondered Character profile (hope to find the time to see you all on board properly some time soon, though being in a different time zone makes it a bit tricky)

Name: Esme, Ez

Age: difficult to pin-point but probably closer to 40 than 30.

Planet of Origin: Doesn't discuss it, but to some people's surprise (though not everyone's) it was a Core Planet. (possibly Osiris?)

Appearance: not tall, 5' 4", dark brown eyes and hair, slightly plump (well, curvacious), a 'well endowed' woman, with shoulder-length, dark brown hair (usually worn up) and brown eyes.

Weapon of choice:nobody's seen one about her person but she is rummoured to have killed at least one man who crossed her in her travels

Family: Ez doesn't talk about her family but has let a few things slip when under the influence. Family was apparently well respected, old money. Father may have held a prominent public position such as Mayor or Magistrate of a large city. Probably youngest of 4 girls - it is apparent that she has no contact with her family at present. Sisters married 'well'.

Might have been married in the past but doesn't mention it or wear a ring.

Personal History: When her father lost his power and money (her sisters had already married, and her mother had passed away), Ez went to work for other notable families as a nanny, a job which her father conceeded to her holding as it was by no means disgraceful. She supported her father in his declining years, but upon his death about 13 years back (coinciding with the family she was with no longer requiring her services as a nanny) she followed her long held dream and joined a travelling theatre group. Through talent and determination she quickly became their leading lady until the company was devastated both physically and financially when they were caught up in a local brawl and theatre bombing. Though apparently fit and healthy Ez still carries scars on her upper arms and back from this attack and never returned to the theatre. Few people have seen her scars as she dresses immaculately & modestly, if somewhat in the style of a frontier lady. During her recovery she lived in a Shepherd's Community and learned about herbs - their culinary, medicinal and mystical qualities, and when she left the community she worked as a cook for several hotels and did some healing on the side. When a brothel proprietor heard of her talents she offered Ez a job as cook and nanny to her young son. The girls (& boys) looked to her as a mother figure and she was relatively happy there with her own personal lodgings and the run of the kitchen.

As the boy outgrew his need of her, and a tutor was engaged, Ez got restless and looked to travel again - usually trading her skills as a cook and/or healer to gain passage on boats between the outer planets.

Secret: She keeps a journal and some would just love to know what's written in it! There are lots of other secrets....

You never know when Ez might arrange passage on 'Serenity' or when she might disembark for her next planet bound experience...

Weapon of choice: A mainframe super computer.

Interesting facts: Beaten by River Tam to get a place in the Academy.Went to the same school as River and was her boyfriend before she went to the Academy.Created first computer virus at 13 is now an experinced hacker,once hacked into an Alliance security system to find out some infomation on what they were doing to River for Simon Tam which eventually led to getting River out of the Academy.When hacking an Alliance mainframe came across some security reports on River and Simon Tam detailing they were on the Firefly class ship Serenity, and is now setting off on a journey to find River and then marry her.

Education: Private school(one of the best in Osiris).

Goals: To crash the whole Alliance mainframe just for fun and to marry River Tam.

Pets: A gerbil named Squizzy.

just one thing? could we not have many pictures in our signatures, coz they take up a lot of space and to us non-broadband people the thread gets really hard to load.

I agree my Internet connection is not a broadband connection,I think the only people allowed pictures in their signatures should be the ones which advertise something related to Firefly/Serenity,like mine for instance.And Summer is not hot she's freaking super,mega,ultimatly,gigantically,sooo hot.
