Has anyone thought about the children? Whalers have families, ya know, and they have little mouths to feed and little feet that need shoes.....Put Whalers out of a job, and those innocent little children risk going w/ out food, clothing and even being tossed out onto the streets!

Shadowfly...do you actually have opinions or do you simply take whatever postion will most offend? I work with students with emotional disturbance and behavior disorders and I have to say...I've seen your behavior in many insecure,troubled kids who think they have nothing to offer and feel valueless. I am sorry for your problems. Let me know if I can help:)

I believe the petition is also to prevent scientific research on whales, research that is often cruel and inhumane, if the whales were being killed only for food it would make this seem a little pointless because it may as well be a petition to stop people from killing cows or pigs. Please sign it and send it to your friends, it is for a good cause. There are other jobs out there besides whalign as well.
