In Australia we too have the whaleing problem with the Japaneise coming into our waters and hunting and killing Humpback and Sothern Rights. it is a shame 'cause its now breeding season and whale numbers are only just rising. What angers me is that, the whales and dolphins in Australian waters are supposed to be protected. but they still try to kill the whale as they migrate. Not to mention that when the whales migrate, they come visit Sydney hourbour which attracts tourest. and there is our special white humpback whale (I think his Humpback, he could be Southern Right) with some Aboriginal name which means 'white boy'
And with out Whales the fish and crustean and crill population will get out of controll. With every specie taken to extinction will alter how other species live resulting in either the rise or fall of other species as evolution is a chain of events, you take one link out and you loose something precious to the world. and whales are considered a magical and harmless creature whoes only goal in life is to be humble and enjoy it.

I'm totally against whaleing and I will admitt, I have signed many potitions to try stopping it.

I believe the only animals that should be hunted are mosquitoes and dangerous homosapiens.

I once adopted two bottle nosed dolphins, and will do so again next year.
