What is the context you want to use it in?

by the way I am only a student so if someone can correct me that would be appreciated :)

I hope you aren't one of my students! get rid of the "shi" in both sentences. replace the first one with "hen" 很 and the second one with 太. Remember that Chinese adjectives act as stative verbs - verbs that imply a state of being, so you don't need the shi.
