I was just listening to the first episode... that musical piece when the Serenity is undocking from the derelict carrier... oh man, I listen to it at least 4 times before continuing on with the show. I cant help it! It's just...soo good.

Anybody have any more news on the CD? And also if it's an actual CD they are thinking about or if it's iTunes and the like? I hope it's an actual CD.

this is sooo thrilling. Having FINALLY introduced my family to my so-treasured dvd set (they could have cared less while it was on), they are now fans. The first comment from my brother-in-law was 'Love the music'....
Cant wait for a CD (hopefully).

Unfortunately, it will be something like iTunes instead of a real CD. But you can write them and ask for the CD release!

Hopefully it won't be released only with digital restriction management loving iTunes - locking out users of GNU/Linux and other OSs unless they crack it < http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/34712.html>.

I hope there's an option to download Ogg Vorbis < http://www.vorbis.com/> files, and that most of the money goes to the composer and the musicians.

Yeah, I know. That sequence really sold me on the whole show....when I had great doubts that a "space oater" could work. It should become the signature riff of the whole show.

(It's just one more thing to underline the COSMIC idiocy of NOT airing the pilot as the first ep.)

PS: Don't forget Jayne's "Let's moon 'em..." Real Outlaw! Do you think they can get Willy Nelson to appear in the movie?
