I remember that haunting piece of music from "Out of Gas". Was that piece written for the show? Or is it a classical piece? It is a tremendous bit of music.

I love the Firefly DVD box almost as much as the show... well I guess that's not true. I just love that after all the bootlegs that I finally have a Firefly DVD boxset that boasts the name "Firefly" on it. I like to shove it in people's faces! Just kidding, anyways I want a Firefly soundtrack with a cover a BIG DAMN BEAUTIFUL COVER.

In the end, there will be a series and a series sountrack and a film and a film's soundtrack.

I want to have all four... not some Mp3s on my computer.

I WANT IT ALL!! damn, Mp3s don't sound as clear as a CD also.

Thanks for the update.
If it's too "alternative" you all may have to tell me what to do to get it. i'm pretty computer ignorant.
I remember listening to the commentaries and nathan said he would rewatch episodes just to listen to the music so i thought i would do that to.
i loved it all.
occasionally i hear something similar on tv (on deadwood as an example) and i just stop and soak it in.
a shiny cd would be very nice.

Yeah I'd much rather have a shiny in-store CD to buy than have to muck around with downloads and all that jazz.

But I want it, badly.

Speaking of Deadwood I've been searching high and low for the theme song for that but to no avail.

Ah, a soundtrack ON TOP of a trio of films... I just pray they're all released in England. Who knows? Maybe the two will kindle more interest than me and a few :)

Although, the Firefly DVD set was in the top 100 on Amazon.co.uk... a good sign, hmm?

if you are think of the peice from "out of gas" where aml is walking through the sship as the two shuttles leave and hes closing doors behind him, yeah. i would buy a soundtrack for JUSST that peice.

and i too hope, no pray, its a real cd and not a itunes deal, because i don't actually have a computer so services like that are useless to me.

but MP3s can sound even better then regular cds but only if the bit rate is high. (128 or higher = shiny). the problem is from what i hear those "legal" music DL services don't use such high rates so the songs do sound worse then cds.

either way, i don't care, i want a cd. (watches "out of gas" again)
