Vicki, I was there! Drove over from SLO. I had a great time. Thanks to the Fresno Browncoats for all their hard work. I would've been VERY sad to miss this event. I'm sitting at work with my little gift pack showing my co-workers...who think I'm completely crazy for driving 2.5 hours to see a movie I've already seen a dozen times. If they only knew....

I'm curious to know what was in those lovely bags. I crossed my fingers hoping that my number would be called, but no such luck.

HAPPY SERENITY DAY!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSS!!!

For everyone who is making their way to see the BDM on the Big Damn Screen, have fun. You'll probably never again go to a theatre and see the energy so great. I went to Ann Arbor, and saw a homemade Jayne hat and a girl dressed up as Kaylee. It was a blast and the big screen brings out details that i've never noticed before.

For everyone who has/is organizing a screening, Thank You. I know it hasn't been easy, but i think the Karma Fairy owes you big for this.

And for everyone at FOX, well...hmmm. Let's just say i hope you're paying attention and pulling your hair out.

CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE THE FINAL BOARD!!!!!

Just bought me another copy of the BDM. I think that makes 4 or 5 in toto over the last year. The 11.88 purchase price at Amazon makes it even Shinier.

Does anyone know if the charity screening money will get added to the total take of the movie?

No, it won't. The box office figures are final and have been for some time.

Only the Serenity DVD sales are significant at present.

Everyone should feel great about their efforts. What a bunch of Shiny People :)

Me, I bought 5 sets of Firefly (TV DVD), 5 BDM, 1 BDM-HD version (for ME, gorram it!) and also the soundtrack for the series and Serenity. And some iTunes eps for a friend. Glad to see Amazon charts climbing!

Now on to the BDM on the BD Screen tonight! Equality Now!

Happy Serenity Day! Just got a Firefly Box set and another BDM from the UK Amazon site. I'll be taking mine into work and passing them around there. Will get more on the September date too - hopefully be able to get the HD in the UK by then!

Great to be part of the day and proud to wear my virtual Browncoat. Have an amazing time all of you lucky ones getting to go to a screening,

The net proceeds for the charity screening money go to the CHARITY. hence it being a charity screening, and not to Universal!

Happy Serenity Day....and I encourage those of you who can't go to a screening, you should donate to Equality Now! Thats one of the main driving points of the campaign.
