Well... I tested out as Mal which is very shiny and the Firefly girl for me is Kaylee which is even shinier.

I ended up Mal, too! I'm all...I would have liked to been a girl, but I'm comfortable with "Captain".
I got Wash for a guy...which makes sense, since he's the funny/caring one. Had we been going on straight sex appeal, however, Hello Jayne. Yes, JaynesGirlfriend, I too, went to that dirty place. :)

well both "which firefly character are you?" quizzes came back with Mal, but I didn't do the others. I'm not surprised, as Mal is the character I identify with completely.

then again...if you mixed Book, River, and Jubal Early you may have an even better match.
