Here's something, before I knew Buffy or Angel, I saw Alien 4, and while my real Alien experience ends at Aliens, I found Alien 4 to be more engaging than most sequels to bad movies, lol.
The dialogue was sharp, and he actually expanded logically on what had gone before. Cool ending, too.

I'm also a Browncoat embarking on the Buffy series starting right from the beginning - any suggestions for good episode guides (a la Mimi Noyes Firefly Episode Guide) or analyses (Finding Serenity) or just any good books (not new stories) about the Buffyverse.

Thanks for any suggestions.
