Well I hate rewriting once something's been established but maybe we can resolve this through gameplay.

As the two continue full down the lane towards Badger's place, Wash continues speaking in a forced whisper, pleading with Mal's sensibilities.
"Listen will you slow down and think things through for a minute? First off how do we know Badger has a job for us? Secondly, why are we storming to his lair guns at the ready when we know it's his lair and he's got the demeanor of a velociraptor? We're walking into his domain so yes something bad's gonna go down. We might as well be walking into a gorram trap. Dong ma? I say we regroup and think this through before we both end up notches on Badger's belt."
