Two Nancy-boys in the sticks? .
The Duke ( ok, he was named marion ) a nancy boy? Maybe a little in the Quiet Man but what about the Duke vs. Lee Marvin in Donovan's Reef? You
are not going to say Lee was a nancy boy too, are you?
It was decent bar brawl to say the least.

Kill Bill Vol 2. The Bride v. Bill.
The anticipation of two movies, the music swells, the tension builds, the sweat beads your upper lip and then - BAM - women effin' rule.
Not that the other fight scenes were too shabby.
One day.
One plan.
One army of Browncoats.
On June 23rd, we aim to misbehave.

Pages indeed Big C :D
Well toughie this one. You mentioned three I would also have considered amoung the best. Glad you included The Crow table scene - I love that too!
Ok
1. Scaramouche - Has about the best sword fight ever committed to film. Lucas should really have watched this one - Absolutely spectacular!!!!
2. Dodge City - The old one with Errol Flynn. Best bar fight ever. Goes on for about ten minutes and spills over from where it orignates in a newpaper office I think, into the saloon, by means of a stuntman going through the wall!!! Incredible stuff. Hilariously lampooned in Blazzing Saddles.
3.Public Enemy Ok not really a fight scene as it all takes place behind closed doors, yet the impact is just as good. When Cagney storms in full of purpose it really gets the hair on the back of the neck up.
4. Operation Condor Jackie Chan to my mind wonderfully weaves humour and circumstance in the last 20 mins of this brilliant action adventure. The scene in the wind tunnel is sublime and balletic, but it's perhaps the five minute fight sequence prior, that takes place on those flipping ramps that stands out. Takes your breath away.
5. Police Story The scene in the mall near the end! This was my first intro into Jackie Chan, and what a nightmare being a stuntman on one of his films must be! Can't take your eyes away though!
6. Predator Arnie vs Predator. Sorry but this really had my heart pounding back when I was a youngster! Whack! Whack! Whack!! Across Arnies chops - wait is Arnie getting his arsed kicked!!!! Awesome!
7 Zu Warriors Acrobatics in the Air! Incredible
8 Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Gotta be the fight where we first see Chow Yun Fat unleash the sword. Although the one with Michelle Yeo and Zying Zyani (sp) choosing all those weapons is awesome too.
9 Mal and the Operative The scene where he's at Inara's place. Felt the punches on that one!
10 The Bourne Supremacy Kickass fight in the house. Loved the pacing of this one. Extremely well choreographed.
Ok that's all for now Big C there are more I'm sure but they're the ones that leap to mind.

No worries. If I had been unable to pick up the sarcasm, I would be forced to return my paisley belt (4th degree) back to the ru br chi ken dojo.
Ok, what about Gladiator? In the very beginning in Germania when they try to execute Maximus?
3(?) on 1 with one centurion was on horseback. Set the tone for the whole movie.

A few of my personal faves:
Neo Vs The Merovingian's vamp henchmen with sword, staffs etc in The Matrix Reloaded. It's just poetic and beautiful.
Qui-gon & Obi-wan Vs Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace. It's still awesome.
John Cusack vs Benny Urquidez in Grosse Pointe Blank (good to see I'm not the only one!). A fight where they really look like they're kicking the crap out of each other.
Blade Vs Nomak in Blade II - in fact, any of the fight scenes in that movie, they're superb.
The Terminator Vs the T-1000. I haven't seen it in so long, either, much check that out.
More films should have swordfighting in them. I watched the Korean movie Arahan last night, some fantastic swordplay there.
Anybody recommend some good swordplay fight scenes/movies?

Not really the *best* but I enjoyed them:
Princess Fiona vs the Robin Hood and his Merry Men (Shrek)
Al Bundy vs Ed "Too Tall" Jones (Married with Children)
Colin Firth vs Hugh Grant (Bridget Jones' Diary)

What a great thread. Hmmm...
I'd have to go with (in no particular order):
1. The Spy Who Loved Me: The fight on the train between Bond and Jaws is a classic.
2. The Transporter - when he spills the oil on the ground and uses the bike pedals... totally sweet.
3. The Godfather - Sonny beats the crap out of Carlo - don't mess with a made man's sister.
4. Equilibrium - previously mentioned and for good reason.
5. Godzilla v. Mothra - need I say more...
6. Enter the Dragon - this is a toss up between the final battle and the "fighting without fighting" scene. Both appealing for different reasons.
7. Raiders of the Lost Ark - fight between Indy and bald Nazi.
8. Army of Darkness - who can argue with a fight between the Good Ash and Evil Ash? Or, actually the battle with the mini-Ashes is pretty good too.
9. Monty Python and the Holy Grail - the black night... come on!
10. X2 - Wolverine in the Mansion was pretty sweet.

in no order:
Massacre at the tea room--Kill Bill vol.1
River at The MaidenHead
The invincible Sword Goddess--Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Honerable Mention:
The fight at the begining of Highlander( in the parking garage ).
No fancy stunts or wires, those guys just look like they're trying to kill each other.
