Dude. He's talking about a school that supposedly hires people to be professors BEFORE they have their PhDs.
I'd hate to see what the rest of the state's education system is like.
But I have seen one product: this mildly psychotic girl I used to live in the dorms with her before she quit school and moved back to Tennessee . . .

It happens here in the UK as well...its a sad, sad situation...

I was polite. Still generally am. Even when drunk (like right now), but I still ended up getting insulted. My intelligence was ridiculed because I couldn't be bothered googling evidence of his point when in any debate it's up to the person to find evidence to support his or her point. And I was also ridiculed for saying I've never had a hispanic airport screener, so I doubt "all airport screeners" are illegal.
Why this was offensive to me: 1. I'm fucking smart. You may not always be able to tell, but I really am. Rar. and 2. When it comes to travel, I know what I'm talking about and it pisses me off to no end when people treat me like I don't. I'm only 22 and I've travelled more than most people in the U.S. ever will BY MYSELF! I've been mostly taking care of myself since the age of 9. You could drop me out of a plane into the middle of India and I would survive to make the journey home. That's more than I can say for him.

Since when do colleges hire PhDs to teach class? That would cost too much. How many of your college instructors are aliens or illegal aliens? College instructors usually only have masters degrees, if you're lucky. I've taught a college class without any degree, after I won the Tennessee collegiate Website Design Contest, that paid the college $10,000 prize money.
Ask your college "instructors" what their "degree rank" is, and ask them how much they're paid. Visit them at their low-rent apartments. How many of them sell dope to pay the rent? Why dod you think most college instructors are cranky, because they can't figure out how to spend their giant paychecks?
It costs a student over $100,000 to purchase a PhD. Most college grads are permanently indebted to student loans, including college instructors.
In Europe, "college" starts at age 16, if not before.

Yeah, I went to school in Pittsburgh but live in Chicago, so I had a crapload of experience with bag checkers. I've travelled to Europe twice, and lived in Argentina for 6 months. Pretty much, I have not seen one non-White/Black bag checker. In Pittsburgh (few immigrants) and Chicago (largest airport in the world) they're mostly black!

At my school grad students aren't higher than a teaching assistant. I can't help but wonder if he got confused.
And then I remember I don't care because I don't go to that school, so I don't have to worry about being taught by someone who might not have damn clue what they're talking about.
But I am concerned about the increasingly appalling education in elementary, middle, and high schools.

Professors are PhDs. At least they should be at a decent school. TAs are usually grad students. They get paid a stipend with free school.
You should never go to a university for grad work, at least in the sciences, unless they pay you to go there.
Med/law school on the other hand is very expensive.
