Episode Content: Season 6
A hilarious musical, sex with Spike, and some mood-setting episodes worthy of Poe. What more could one want out of television?
There is one exception to this: Hells Bells. Worst. Episode. Ever. I will never forgive them for doing a hackneyed TV cliche of a "Where's the groom?" wedding episode. Blech.
Plot: Season 3
A truly well set-up plotline begun before the season started.
Outcome: Tied between Season 2 & Season 3
I could see the S2 ending coming, and I still cried. Predictability is usually one thing I will not tolerate in plots (see comments on Hells Bells above...), but this was so stunning, I didn't even care that I saw it coming.
As for the S3 ending, Snyder got eaten by a big, scary snake. Couldn't'a happened to a nicer guy. Except maybe Warren.
Overall: Season 3
The Mayor was the best and most hilarious villain, the season had Band Candy (my all-time fav episode, thank you JANE ESPENSON!) and Angel and Buffy broke up! Woo Hoo!

Episode content: Season 2. The introduction of Spike, Drucilla and Oz, Angel turning evil, Buffy killing Angel to save the world, Oz and Willows relationship, Jenny's death, and a rocket launcher. Buffys best year.
Runner up: Season 6.
Plot: Season 7. Gotta agree, the First Evil and Ubervamp idea was great.
Runner up: Season 2.
Outcome: Season 7. The perfect ending to a nigh-on-perfect show. The whole show came full circle and was much more satisflying than the ending of season 5.
Runner up: Season 3. Love Oz's line, 'We survived. Not the battle, high school.

Episode content: season 4 (pretty arc heavy to me, deals with moving on and the way in whcihthe show goes)
plot: eeerm....season 3. just cos of what happens, wesley, faith, giles sacked, buffy quits council, angel go bye bye
over-all: season 2, my fave. love the last half, especially the death of jenny..my fave buffy ep ever.

Favorite Episode: Season Finale of Season 2, I cry everytime.
Favorite Plot: Season 2 - Angelus, I love David evil!
Favorite Outcome: Season 5 Finale, again crying everytime.

Best Storyline: From Season 4 of Buffy to Season 1 of Angel; Faith awakens. I love how when she woke up, she was just as bitter and hateful towards Buffy as before, perhaps more, due to 8 months of vivid 'Buffy-stabbing-the-only-person-I-care-about-to-death' dreams. Then comes the body switch, where Faith learns what it means to be Buffy, and realizes that it's herself she hates. The bus pulls into L.A., and mahem ensues. After being contracted by W&H, she tortures Wesley for a bit, then is treated to pastries the next day, after revealing her true self to Angel during one of the best action sequences I've ever seen. Then Buffy strolls into Angel's Town, and he gives her whatfor, sticking up for Faith, who is exhausted on several levels, and wants to change her ways. Wackiness ensues as the Watcher's Council try (yet again) to capture Faith, and fail miserably (yet again). The 'Faith' multi-show arc ends with her turning herself in to the authorities.
A complete transformation of character for Faith.
A realization of independence for Angel.
A rude awakening for Buffy.
A couple of scars for Wesley.

Favorite Episode: Passion (season 2)- evil Angel, death of Jenny and a great ending that leaves my crying everytime. Band Candy and Tabula Rossa were great funny type episodes.
Favorite Outcome: Season 2- gut wrenching pain and anguish. Great funny moments when Spike and Buffy call a truce.
Favorite Season: Season 5- Dawn/Glory storyline was fun. Lots of sad moments and great funny scenes (Spike being tortured by Glory was a hoot!). Dawn's crush on Spike was great. Rileys exit made sence and he was a good charecter. The start of the Spike/Buffy relationship was very entertaining. Dealing with Tara's mind mush was tuff. Willows growth as a witch. Awesome stuff.
