Yay! I've started up the llymerics again! I really want to find that other thread so that I can compile all the episode posts into a big book (but I've spent far too long looking) Anyway, another episode in rhyme. We could have a whole rhyming season!
The Train Job:
As a tradition on every U-Day
Mal and Zoe'd go out of their way
To find a rough bar
Where they could both spar
And feel better for having their say.
This one time had got pretty bad.
Some Alliance folks Mal had got mad.
'Till Wash came a runnin'
And threatened a gunnin'.
Then they laughed ‘cos the rubes had been had!
In the infirmary River was screaming.
About the bad place she was dreaming.
It made Simon sad.
She said "Mal. It means Bad"
As the Captain went off to his scheming.
Mal searched with a look almost manic
For his guilty and giggling mechanic.
She was with the Companion.
He asked what had been goin' on
Did she see the space monkeys and panic?
Mal and Zoe went to see some nice folk
‘Bout a job, ‘cos they were stoney broke.
Crow was a minion who
Liked to jump out and go ‘Boo’
And Niska was a real creepy bloke!
Niska outlined his cunning campaign
For the goods he wanted them to attain.
So they took on the job
And agreed that they’d rob
The Alliance filled Paradiso train.
Mal and Zoe got in past the guard
Though Zoe thought it would be hard.
Jayne came down for the loot
But a guard shouted “Shoot”
As he left, with a bullet he was scarred.
Mal and Zoe escaped in the crowd,
But soon they weren’t feeling so proud,
When they learn that the box
Was for curing the pox,
To return it they then and there vowed.
Jayne was wanting to leave them behind.
The others thought that was unkind.
None could argue with Jayne
When he brought out ‘the chain’
So Doc drugged him to help him unwind.
Inara helped the Captain escape
As she swooped in leaving all men agape.
She gave Mal a good slap,
Said he was her bonded chap,
And left, cutting through all red tape.
Crow was upset by Mal’s new reversal.
Didn’t get honour is universal
Mal gave him back the dough,
But the answer was no
So he left via engine dispersal.
Mal and Zoe went to take back the crate
And were met by the Sheriff, irate.
But he saw his mistake
Mal said there’d been no choice to make.
And that’s what makes Mal so damn great.

Can not stop myself from all this rhymin,
Bout Serenity,Mal,Jayne and Simon,
River,Zoe,Book and there too Wash,
Our path is clear,our cause not lost,
Inara and Kaylee are included too,
The words keep comin,what can I do?
Can't stop my brain from the pull and tug,
To cease,think I'll have to swallow a bug,
The words still come no end in sight,
But for now to "Limericks" I say "Goodnight"

It's upped my addiction a notch,
Search all kinds of places,
For the crews familiar faces,
But finding thems not happening a lot
