Just as the topic title says; where might I be able to find Firefly/Serenity action figures at local stores?

I live in Arizona and Hastings ...a book and video store... has Mal, Jayne, and Reaver action figures. Try some stores like that in your area. Also Toys-R-Us will order them for ya if they don't have any in stock.

I have seen them at a local comic shop here in Richmond, VA. Haven't seen them anywhere else.

Only ever seen them in comic stores myself. The local store still has one basic set left (no variants).
On a related note did anyone get the Toy Fair exclusive Reaver from earlier this year? I remember Toyfare magazine had a blurb about it a few months back.

I just saw 2 sets for sale on ebay. Both sets had a Mal, Jayne, and a Reaver. The reaver was the only one that actually looked like the character, though. Hope that helps!
