you don't want to know, I would crush this jubilant mood in one post flat, suffice to say it was horrible, but now I am going to enjoy the dancing.
Ah, you see I love the Nook, mainly because IRL i've never learned to waltz, so the Nook is pretty much the only place where I glide about the room with the grace of a dozen ballerinas and my partner doesn't have to leave in a wheel chair due to a sudden lack of toes.
*Dances*
I love the Nook.

If you need to talk PM me, though I probably wouldn't be the best person, I'm a real good listener when I can ignore the emails

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!
And as you know, these are open forums, you're able to come and listen to what I have to say.

*Dances with Serenity too*
Hey Captain. I don't know any specific dances. But I move well. and It's the Nook, so I'll fake the dances.
"So I talked about conscience and I talked about pain And he looked out the window and it started to rain
I thought maybe I've already gone crazy
So I reached for a bottle and he reached for the door And I picked up the sleeping pills crushed on the floor
Inviting me to a casual obscenity."

I'm a trained listener. seriously. I've been know to listen amazingly well, and have great input for anyone that isn't me. I always to bugger my own advice. I better quit talking to myself, I always get me in trouble.
More Waltzing? You glide across the floor with such grace.

I can vouch for JH being a good listener. He's also terribly patient when the person he's trying to talk to keeps trying to fall asleep.
I've got my flute out, trying to practice a bit since I agreed to play at Relay for Life in 2 days and haven't touched the thing in over a year. I got bored with Amazing Grace and moved onto Mozart's Concerto No. 2 in D, which, considering I haven't worked on it seriously since college, I can play AMAZINGLY well (can you believe my flute instructor wouldn't let me play it for recitals? 8 years later and I still have most of it memorized. Moron!)
Anyway, now I've got out my Bach Rondeau, so everyone grab a partner, someone grab a grand piano and be my accompanyist and let's have some fun. I'll play the Polonaise next.
It's like we've suddenly slipped into a Jane Austin novel!

ooo yay, more dancing! Although, I still have no partner...*taps foot impatiently and looks around the room*
I'd also like to contribute to the whole good listener discussion- I'm amazingly patient, just ask my friend Molly (well, you really can't but take my word for it)- it's been seven years since we met and I listen as good as ever:) If anyone ever needs someone to do just that, my aim screen name is on my profile:)
Okay, moving on...
*still waiting for a partner...bats eyes hoping it will help*

You're more than welcome to join me playing. Here's some convenient sheet music I happen to have lying around.
Unless you'd rather dance. It seems at least one lady is without a partner (though this may be the only dance I've ever been at where there are more men than women.)
No, wait, not true. I once went to a latin night club where the ratio was probably 8:1 in favor of the men. That was a freaky night.

*Grabs his partner, ....and gets slapped squarely across the face.*
*Scoops her up and dances anyway.*

I've been to places where men out number women, but only if your classification of 'man' is exremely broad and very forgiving.
If you want to dance with JH I can stap aside, just fill in his dance card.
I can always go bully SR or Tristan into dancing with me (I think CMS and LMD are the band)
Yes, i've had the problems with the Jayne spelling.
Ok, may as well go the whole hog *installs magic wardrobe, instructs all the girls to run through it, all come out dressed like JA heroines*
Well, we look gorgeous, are any of you guys going to volunteer for breeches? *flutters fan, admires dancing slippers*
Go on, who will be my Mr Darcy? *cue group sigh*
