Look, I agree that there are certain things that are not open to discussion about being reprehensible, no matter how open minded someone is trying to be. Pedophilia, genocide, etc. I never once condoned rape, only expressed my OPINION that mode of dress is an effective preventative measure. How is that reprehensible except for the way that others, and I'm now assuming you, misconstrued it into my saying that women invite the act upon themselves?
Face it, if you people didn't flat out put words in my mouth, than you at least presumed to put intentions in my heart. To me, THAT is vile and offensive. How do you think I felt when someone said that they saw the makings of a possible future rapist on that thread? I have bled for this country and the freedom of everyone to not have to fear injustices like rape. I have prevented multiple crimes INCLUDING rape from happening just working as a rent-a-cop. But shit, I didn't expect any of you to know that. What I did expect was some sort of human decency, to not visit what you THINK my intentions are upon me, and to not flat out accuse me of being capable of something like rape.

Wonderful people! Hello to all. I am alive and well (or as well as I have been this crappy crappy year!) I am so dreadfully sorry to have caused distress. I did get angry the other week, but truthfully, I have just been working a great deal and trying to get through the last week or so. I have not left you all, I have been lurking a bit when I can, and thinking of you all when I can't. I am working 2 jobs to try and keep this kids and I in our home. I thank you all for your kind, kind words. I had meant to delete that stupid posting on my log, I just haven't gotten to it. It was childish and I admit to feeling sorry for myself. But I put in a little of my future Mr and I felt better in a bit!
It is so nice to have a place where one is welcomed! You are all so dear!

You're back! I'm so glad you've stayed with us; it just wouldn't be the same.
Don't worry. Everyone's allowed to feel sorry for themselves every now and again. I usually unload on a fellow Browncoat. She listens, gives good advise when needed, hugs when advise isn't possible and administers chocolate.
And for acting childish...I think I can beat you and I'm older. I taught my adoptive niece to shoot straw papers in the restaurant. Last year. So, let's not have any worries about that, either. My theory on that goes with a quote from an old Doctor Who episode: "What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?"

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. Be with us when ya can. One of my co-workers also has kids and does the two-job thing. I'm frankly amazed and in awe at how either of you do it.
The par-tay's still going; most of the llamas and several guests, have passed out from copious alcohol consumption.
