She had a heated discussion with Citizen but nothing too extreme. However then someone else started a thread calling Citizen an idiot for insulting her and she got caught a bit in the crossfire.

So she left which was a shame as I don't think anyone wanted her to.

You mean that ridiculousness that has been flying around? I'm sorry to say I've ignored most of it; just couldn't wade through all the to try to figure out what Vaan was talkin' about. I was actually shocked that his thread wasn't sent to Troll Country right off the bat. Since he wasn't making much sense to me, and most people were dealing with him very eloquently, I figured it couldn't be too much of a deal; didn't expect to be so wrong about it...
Damn shame.

I tried to stop her. She was lots of fun but she got caught in the middle of some very nasty threads. It's a real shame.

I can't believe she left. And I don't understand why anyone would accuse her of being a troll. She is one of the nicest people I know on this forum. She always seemed to brighten the place up when things were tense. I really hope she'll reconsider coming back. I for one, am really going to miss her.

The thing is, nobody did call her a troll; all that was directed at the start of the Citizen is an idiot thread. She just felt it was aimed at her when it wasn't.

And Chris, you weren't called a troll for having an unpopular belief. Thinking that River should get together with Book is an unpopular belief. You were called a troll for stating a reprehensible belief. There's quite a difference. I don't think you are a troll, given that a troll's purpose is just to stir for the sake of it. But you can't state something vile and offensive to both men and women then claim to be surprised when people turn against you.
