I am sorry for both of us, Serenity, for NEITHER of us invented the comlink. While I used a "computer link" earlier, the first documented use of something called a "comlink," "commlink," "comm link," or "com link" was in Thread 19: The Black Diamond Ski Resort, and it was posted by none other than Static, as quoted below:
